James joined RSMR in December 2020. His role is to help ensure that the strength and breadth of RMSR’s expertise and solutions remain highly regarded and widely used.
James has almost 30 years’ experience with UK headquartered financial businesses. After graduating with a BSc in Geography from the University of Manchester, he started out as a customer adviser at Save Prosper (now JP Morgan Asset Management), developing his career through roles at Mercury Asset Management (now BlackRock) and the London Stock Exchange. In recent years, James was Head of Marketing at Ignis before it was acquired by Standard Life Investments and he spent six years in the award winning marketing team at Henderson and Janus Henderson, as Head of UK Wholesale Marketing and Head of Wholesale Adviser Marketing for EMEA and LatAm. James is ACII and IMC qualified.
Outside work, from his base in West Yorkshire, James follows the football fortunes of Oxford United (or lack of them). He also still plays football, in the unshakeable belief that one of these days the Oxford United manager will give him a call.
