Our approach is forward-looking and considers the historic, long-term risk and return of various asset classes. We strive for stability over time and independence from market timing decisions.
The RSMR investment team meets formally, every quarter, to discuss asset allocation views and topics and how they may affect our portfolios. Information and data are drawn from a wide range of industry sources to help form a collective view on issues which may drive returns. Factors considered include valuation levels, interest rate and inflation expectations and economic growth rates. In addition to the quarterly asset allocation meetings, the team meets regularly to discuss emerging data, individual views on asset classes and any potential portfolio fund changes.
RSMR has been researching and rating funds since 2004. Regular meetings with fund managers across the globe ensure that the funds we rate not only meet our exacting standards but also have the processes in place to deliver the best performance in their specific sectors and regions.
Our Fund Rating Methodology document provides more detailed information on our approach.
