Previously Robin held Non-executive Director roles at Marlborough Investing Consultants ltd and River & Mercantile plc. He has 25 years of experience in product development and distribution of asset management through regulated intermediaries in the UK and internationally. He originally trained as a Financial Planner at Towry Law plc, prior to moving to Henderson Investors plc.
After 6 years he was appointed Head of Global Distribution, a role which he went on to practice at HSBC Asset Management Europe, before launching a new fund management business at Cazenove & Co plc in 2001. Over the next 12 years, Robin was instrumental in building funds via external advisors from £300m to £6.5bn, leading up to the acquisition of Cazenove Capital ltd by Schroders plc in July 2013.
In 2014 Robin was appointed as Non-executive Director at RSMR and as Independent Chairman in 2019.
