The Man GLG High Yield Opportunities fund is run by a highly experienced team whose focus is to find idiosyncratic opportunities within the high yield market. The team are looking for the best risk-adjusted opportunities available to them at any point in time and look across the investable spectrum from performing to stressed and special situations.
The team believe that companies with smaller capital structures and a lower presence in market indices present an opportunity for fundamental bottom up stock-pickers and these under researched companies can generate strong risk adjusted return for fund holders.
The fund has a great deal of flexibility across geographies and sectors as well as being flexible and nimble across the economic cycle to take advantage of opportunities as they arise. The team take a high conviction approach and will often look different relative to the benchmark. The fund has strong risk adjusted and annualised returns since inception in 2019.
